The Tickle Bar provides professional, non-sexual sensory wellness experiences centered around light touch, tracing, hair and scalp play, ASMR-inspired techniques, and relaxation. Sexual services are never part of a Tickle Bar appointment.

Do not engage in sexual conversation, sexualized touching or behavior, or agree to a client's request to turn an appointment into something outside the Tickle Bar experience. If a client makes an inappropriate request, clearly remind them that The Tickle Bar is a non-sexual service. If the behavior continues or makes you uncomfortable, end the appointment, notify us, and we will handle refunds, client blocking, and next steps.

Respect the client's boundaries.

Before beginning, help your client understand what to expect and ask about any areas they do or do not want touched. Pay attention throughout the appointment. If a client asks you to stop doing something, stop immediately. Never pressure a client to try a technique or accept touch they do not want.

Your safety comes first.

Review appointment information before you go. If something concerns you, contact us. If you ever feel threatened, unsafe, or seriously uncomfortable, end the appointment and leave. Get somewhere safe first, then contact The Tickle Bar and let us handle what comes next.

Be reliable, clean, and appointment-ready.

Arrive on time, prepared, clean, well groomed, and dressed appropriately. Keep tools and reusable items clean between clients. Repeated lateness, cancellations, no-shows, or other unreliable behavior may affect your ability to receive Tickle Bar bookings.

Protect client privacy and speak up.

Do not photograph, record, post, or share client information without clear permission. Tell us promptly about inappropriate behavior, safety concerns, disputes, injuries, unusual incidents, or anything else you believe we should know.

Protecting the Marketplace

The Tickle Bar invests significant time and resources in building brand awareness, marketing Tickle services, attracting new clients, managing bookings and payments, and connecting clients with independent Tickle Techs. Our marketplace works only when clients and Techs respect the system that brought them together.

By participating as a Tickle Tech, you agree that any client who is introduced to you through The Tickle Bar, including a client who books with you, communicates with you, or is referred to you through our platform, is considered a Tickle Bar client for purposes of this and all future Tickle services.

Tickle services must stay within The Tickle Bar.

You agree not to solicit, encourage, accept, or arrange a Tickle appointment directly with a Tickle Bar client outside of The Tickle Bar's booking and payment system. This includes accepting direct payment for a Tickle service or suggesting that a client book with you outside the platform to avoid Tickle Bar fees.

This applies whether the client originally booked specifically with you or was matched with you through The Tickle Bar.

Your other business is still your business.

We recognize that many Tickle Techs are talented professionals who also provide services such as facials, lashes, brows, nails, makeup, hair, esthetics, or other wellness and beauty services. If a Tickle Bar client learns about those services while working with you, you are welcome to book and provide those non-Tickle services directly through your own business. The Tickle Bar does not expect a commission or fee from those services.

We simply ask that any Tickle service provided to a client introduced through The Tickle Bar continue to be booked through The Tickle Bar.

Why this matters

The Tickle Bar's goal is to create a system that benefits everyone. We invest in marketing, brand development, client acquisition, scheduling, payment processing, customer support, and programs designed to encourage clients to book again.

Clients may receive discounts or other benefits toward future Tickle Bar appointments when they continue booking through the platform, even if they choose a different Tickle Tech for their next appointment. This gives clients a reason to stay within the marketplace and gives every Tech an opportunity to benefit from repeat Tickle Bar business.

Keeping the relationship fair

We do not want to interfere with your existing clientele or your independent business. Clients you had before being introduced through The Tickle Bar remain your clients, and this agreement does not restrict your ability to provide services to them independently.

In return for The Tickle Bar introducing new clients to you, you agree to respect the marketplace and not circumvent it for Tickle services. Attempting to move Tickle Bar clients off-platform for Tickle services may result in suspension or termination from the Tickle Bar marketplace and may affect eligibility to receive future client referrals.

Acknowledgment

By checking the box below, I acknowledge that I have read and understand The Tickle Bar's client booking and non-circumvention policy. I agree that Tickle services for clients introduced to me through The Tickle Bar will be booked and paid for through The Tickle Bar's designated booking system, and I understand that I remain free to provide my other professional services independently.
